I've made it! One whole year of taking photos! I'm going to admit that it was not all sparkly hearts and rainbows. It was tougher than I expected, but also more rewarding than I anticipated. I love, love, love that I have an entire year on which to look back and see my children grow up before my eyes. I learned so much about myself, my children, my camera, and my photography style through it. It is a year I will never forget! That being said.... I am so ready for a break from it! haha.

With the lego they got, the plasma car, the marble maze, the dolls, the books, and all of the other trinkets, the last two days have been pretty well-occupied!

This year's Christmas celebrations feel amped up because my mom just found out from her latest CT scan that there is no longer ANY sign of cancer in the three areas that were tumorous! Praise the LORD! Now we're praying that they will stop her chemo altogether. She's only halfway through it, and it would be such a blessing if she could go on maintenance NOW!

That moment when you realize that your kids are old enough to help with the laundry (insert chorus of hallelujahs here).
